I work
because I can barely stand us as humanity otherwise
because we don't grasp many concepts
because I have to examine the discrepancies of my existence
because the ambiguity of black and white wants to be deconstructed
because knowledge, thought, and fantasy are not strangers
so that the vertigo of things hovers but is never tangible

(1966*) in Frauenfeld. Lives and works in Basel.
Trained as an optician; studied at the Farbmühle in Lucerne
and at the Basel University of Applied Sciences for Design and Art.
Works as a performer and multimedia artist, both as part of a collective and as a solo artist.
Performances and exhibitions in Switzerland and abroad.
In 2024, he won the Swiss Performance Art Award
for the work: Zisch, Blubber, Hot & Pot.
